Barn space is limited so all entry’s must be in by august 1st.Barn space is on a first come first serve basis. “ALL” teams must be clean and in “show condition” at all times. All animals must have proof of rabies vaccination and a health certificate. All out-of-state animals must show proof of TB test. All classes are open. All entries with barn space must be on the grounds Friday and must remain through dismissal time on Sunday. Camper space is available but all exhibitors must PREREGISTER CAMPERS with the appropriate forms and fees. All livestock trailers must be parked in the designated area for the weekend. All exhibitors under 17 years old as of January 1st must go in showmanship. Junior classes are under 17 years as of January 1st. Each team may be shown or pulled only once in each class.

The Donald Francis Trophy
The Donald Francis Trophy honors Don and his commitment to youth and agriculture in Windham County and the State of Connecticut. This rotating trophy will be presented to the best teamster, less than 17 years old as of January 1st, as determined by total points awarded in the Stone Boat, Showmanship and Cart Classes.
The Jean and Ray Ludwig Trophy
The Jean and Ray Ludwig trophy is in admiration for their many years of expertise and undying love of oxen, their dedication as 4-H leaders and open willingness to help young and old teamsters across the country. This plaque will be presented to the best senior teamster as determined by total points awarded in the Stone Boat, and Cart Classes. From the working steer family, a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Ludwig’s!!
Saturday, 3 p.m.
All steers must be weighed in by 9:00 am. All teams must be driven with a whip and lash or wood goad stick. One team, one driver. All teams must remain on the grounds after weigh-in.
